Michelle, who received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, has been previously recognized by the UF audiology faculty for her contributions and initative in both the classroom and clinic environment. Now Starkey too, has recognized her accomplishments by choosing Michelle as a recipient of the William F. Austin Scholarship Award for 2009. This unique academic award was established in 2004 to support strong candidates pursuing clinical, teaching and research careers. Available to audiology graduate students, the award consists of up to five $10,000 scholarships. Recipients of the William F. Austin Scholarship demonstrate leadership in academic achievement, career goals, research interests, motivations for studying audiology and more. |
